Full moon in NOLA

Second half of Spring Tour started on Wednesday in New Orleans, LA. Love that town. Went for a walk through the French Quarter after midnight under the full moon, and couldn't pass up this photo op

Let It Be

Before my Minneapolis gig in April, I visited the former residence of Bob and Tommy Stinson. This is the house from the Replacements' Let It Be album cover!

Smoke on the highway

After 10 shows in a row in 9 days (two on Saturday), I had a break yesterday in Kansas City, MO. I took the opportunity to enjoy some park life, do laundry, and eat delicious vegan food at FÜD. Today, I will drive through the freeway fires of Kansas to Lincoln, NE for a gig tonight at Crescent Moon.

The Womb

Greetings from Oklahoma! I played in Oklahoma City a few nights ago at The Bleu Garten. It's a great venue that's just a few blocks from The Flaming Lips headquarters, The Womb. If this is what it looks on the outside, I'm sure the inside is even better.

Talk Will Tell EP is now available!

My new release, Talk Will Tell EP, is now available! It features four previously released songs - two from See Through, two from Things Moving On Their Own Together - and two new songs, “The Ballad of Cash and Dean” and “Radio Caroline” (both historical explorations of a sort, one that literally came to me in a dream). The feeling of this EP is the gripping immediacy of an intimate, live solo acoustic show. You can stream or download from Bandcamp.

The new EP was recorded during my 2016 tour. Engineered, mixed, and mastered by Tom Miller at Tritone Studios in Clayton, NC on Friday, October 7th. Tom also captured the session on video, which will be available soon.

Stay tuned for upcoming tour dates! Thanks for listening!!
