Tour Update #4
I got home from tour yesterday. I drove 4000 miles for 18 days through 17 cities in 7 states to play 16 shows, 3 in-stores, and 2 radio interviews. Thanks to all those who made it possible, and to everyone who supported along the way. I'll be back at it during June!

Tour Update #3
After my show in Fargo, ND on Saturday (and before my show in Appleton, WI on Sunday), I took a big detour to Hibbing, MN. That's the town where Robert Zimmerman (aka Bob Dylan) grew up. I spent a lovely Sunday morning seeing the house he grew up in, and walked a few blocks where he went to high school.
I performed live on the radio yesterday in Sun Prairie, WI (WLSP) and today in Madison, WI (WORT). I'll be playing in Madison tonight and Milwaukee tomorrow, then I'll be in Illinois and Saint Louis for the rest of the week. See the SHOWS page for details.

April tour update #1
I had fun at all my shows this week, but Friday in Tulsa was definitely a highlight. Before the show, I visited the Curtis Brothers House (from The Outsiders movie); and the Woody Guthrie Center (amazing). My performance was on the roof patio of The Boxyard, with the Tulsa skyline as a backdrop. Later that night, I ate delicious vegan pizza down the street at Bohemian; then had a nightcap (10oz. Americano) across the street at Hodges Bend. Thank you Tulsa!

On this day in 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, TN at the Lorraine Motel. Yesterday, I visited the Mason Temple where he presented the "Mountaintop" speech on April 3, 1968. Today I attended the memorial service at the National Civil Rights Museum (which includes the Lorraine Motel). It was powerful to hear Jesse Jackson (who was with MLK on April 4, 1968) and all the other speakers share their thoughts on this landmark event.
