Abby and I (and Elsie) took a few days off last week, and headed for the hills of Arkansas. We stayed at a cabin in the woods for some hiking and a lovely day at the lake. Here are a few photos.

SodaCan is back (again)!

It all started in 2006 from a basement apartment in Jersey City, NJ. The concept was sparked by my interest in experimental music, hip hop, sound collage, cut-up technique, and spoken word.

I began with lo-fi drum beats captured on a hand held cassette player, then looped through a Boss SP-202. The grooves became a foundation for samples gathered from my CD and DVD collection, accompanied by a Casio keyboard. The songs were composed on a Windows 98 Dell desktop computer with Sound Forge editing software, ReBirth 808, and Sonar multitrack recording program.

The second SodaCan album Remember Forget Repeat was originally released in 2009, and you can listen HERE. Check out the videos HERE!!
