Gtr Bar @ 25

Happy Anniversary to Guitar Bar! I bought my first electric guitar and amp from them many moons ago. I also took guitar and singing lessons there (still working on it); and taught drum lessons. They're a New Jersey gem!! Looking forward to 25 more!!!

Charlie & Me

Charlie Hunter was in Atlanta last night performing with Kurt Elling, and we had a great hang before the show. I played drums in Charlie’s band from 2000 to 2002. That was my first big gig and we traveled the world together (and made a few albums). He’s the best!!! Great musician, a true artist, and righteous dude. Charlie is always up to something new and exciting, so be sure to stay up on all the latest at charliehunter.com

The Boat That Rocks

I released a single called “Radio Caroline” on vinyl in 2018, featuring artwork by Matt DiLeo (and "The Ballad of Cash & Dean" on side Side B). The song is about a legendary pirate radio station located off the coast of England. I'm excited to announce that it's now available for purchase directly from Radio Caroline! All proceeds go towards the fundraising campaign to benefit their ship, Ross Revenge. Click HERE to visit their Web Shop.

SFTAP @ 20

Charlie Hunter's album Songs from the Analog Playground was released on September 25th, 2001 from Blue Note Records. Featuring John Ellis on sax, Chris Lovejoy on percussion, and me on drums. It was Charlie's first record with guest vocalists (Norah Jones, Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def, Kurt Elling, and Theryl "Houseman" DeClouet). This photo was taken on the last day of recording at Water Music in Hoboken, NJ on February 19th, 2001.
